Typecast

I've been assaulting my ears with Typecast's two albums, The Infatuation Is Always There and Every Moss and Cobweb for weeks now, and like Harry Potter and Urbandub, they're addicting.

  

Typecast has become part of my listening habit during my commute to and from work.

What's so addicting about heir music is that you can relate, you feel the sincerity, the hurt...

The way Steve Badiola sings, full of emotions and sincerity, the catching guitar riffs of Pakoy Fletchero and Steve, the bass scales of Chi Resurreccion and how he makes playing the bass looks so easy, and, Melvin Macatiag's unique way in playing the drumsl; someone wrote that its as if the drums owes Mel money and another commented on a youtube video "kawawa ang drumset kay Mel". He plays the drums intensely.

Their music blends to the point of being second nature that whenever they do live shows, you will forgive them if they make mistakes. Others will not even notice.
